Dry Containers
These are the most commonly used containers to transport goods and are suitable for transporting all types of dry cargo.
A 20ft is as a 6 metre and a 40ft is a 12-metre container in metric terms.
A 20ft container is often referred to as a Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit (TEU) and the 40ft container is known as a Forty-foot Equivalent Unit (FEU), or commonly referred to as a 2 TEU.

High Cube Dry Containers
This container is 1ft (30.48cm) higher than a standard 40ft container; allowing for an additional 8.7m³ of cargo volume.

Reefer Containers
A high cube reefer (Refrigerated container) is equipped with a cooling system, allowing the temperature to be controlled inside the container.
Due to the cooling system installed in the container, the internal capacity of the container is reduced.
For consolidation cargo and movement of dry cargo, a non-operating reefer (NOR) container may be used.
